- ice guard/coaching duties
- gear tower
- black one
- water bottle
This is our 5th Pacific Rink bag we now use in my family and by far my favorite color. I use the Pond Hockey bag as a perfect coaches bag as it fits my helmet, gloves and white board inside...everything I need for practice. My son uses the pond hockey bag right now due to Covid restrictions requiring that he comes to the rink padded up. He’s able to just throw his helmet, gloves and skates into his pond pack and leave the big bag at home. Pacific Rink bags are miles ahead of the competition!
Got this bag for my son after getting the black one for my daughter last year (she is very jealous of the grey color!). With COVID the rink mandates that the kids show up fully dressed- this bag is perfect for carrying skates/helmet/gloves/water bottle. Also great for ice guard/coaching duties. Super well-built, very thoughtful layout and very comfortable to wear. NOT a substitute for a gear tower, but a great solution to not have to drag around a gear tower for just a little bit of gear. If I could change anything: offer personalized monograms (initials/name/number) to help deter theft. These things get a lot of attention and “dude, nice bag!”
I decided to get a new pond bag since I have two boys also skating and we could always use another bag when we head out to skate. So I went ahead and got the grey thinking the only difference was the color. For the most part it is the same bag, but I do like the upgrade to the strap used to attach the helmet. it now works just like how the skates attach. The old way was fine, but wasnt adjustable and took a little more effort to get on and off. There are a few other changes, such as there are now straps attached to the zippers. Again not major changes, but if given the option to get the original or this one, take this one.
