This is the perfect bag for a weekend tournament of hockey
I can’t believe that I am excited for a piece of luggage but the weekend bag is seriously awesome. I love the organization and ease of access to my stuff. Pacific rink is the lulu lemon of bags- highest quality stuff. I have a pacific rink hockey bag for coaching (best ever) and the Dopp kit. I am hooked. Is that weird?
I know this is a review for the weekender bag, but I’m going to start with the player bag. Amazing product, and hasn’t failed me once in over a year. My first few months playing I went through 2 bags. They ripped so quickly I was out $150 and frustrated. I Decided to buy pacific rink after a friends recommendation, and haven’t looked back. Of course they came out with a everyday backpack and weekender bag. So what did I do? I bought the backpack because I wanted to see if the quality was just like The player bag. The backpack didnt disappoint at all, with plenty of room and protection for laptop and items. They nailed this product also. Naturally I had to get the weekender bag... it completes the trio and its a total game changer. I’m always on the go and biggest problem is room for shirts and jackets. The protection quality of this weekender bag is just like the player bag. It can take whatever beating you give it. For any parent or player that has to travel... this is a no brained hands down great product that will last and keep you happy. Cheers to an amazing start up company that has changed the game for the better of all.
Not long after receiving the weekender, I had to travel and what a great bag it is. It's size is comparable to a standard carry-on roller bag but being soft material you'll likely be able to squeeze it in more overhead spaces than the hard plastic ones or bags with structural frames. There are a bunch of great pockets and sections to the bag, but if you're looking at Pacific Rink stuff you probably already know that. I did use both the shoulder strap and the backpack straps while walking around the airport and they both felt comfortable and sturdy. And of course they tuck back into the bag when you want to hide them. On the return flight I checked this bag and it held up fine to the commercial bag throwers. All hardware/zippers seem solid and capable. The one thing I did learn to keep an eye out for are the little leather strips that accent the zippers. They can very easily come undone and get lost but it doesn't effect the function of the bag at all. After my first trip I am very happy with it and hope, it holds up to years of use. Great looking bag, that organizes and holds a lot. Great job Pacific Rink.
